Dr. chem. Carmen Păduraru is associate professor at the Department of Environmental Engineering and Management, “Cristofor Simionescu” Faculty of Chemical Engineering and Environmental Protection, “Gheorghe Asachi” Technical University of Iași. She graduated in 1981 with a degree in Chemistry from the Faculty of Chemical Technology in Iași and since 2005 he has a PhD in Chemistry.
Her didactic and research activities includes: analytical chemistry, ecology and environmental protection, concentration and separation of polluting metals, combined methods used in the analysis of platinum metals.
