(SUSTINWATER)<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The SUSTINWATER project objective is to develop a technical and eco-design integrated approach for the synthesis and use of innovative inorganic\/organic composites for simultaneous removal of priority (PPs) &amp; testing of multi-functional composite sorbents <\/li><li>Monitoring of EPs&amp;PPs and assessment of technical &amp;environmental performances of advanced wastewater treatment (AWWT) <\/li><li>Use of eco-design principles&amp;environmental performances evaluation for the overall innovative material cycle design, synthesis, testing, reuse<\/li><li>Disseminating research results at international\/national level, promoting researchers\u2019 interdisciplinary skills. <\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>SUSTINWATER novel features are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li>To obtain environmentally friendly composite sorbent for EPs &amp; PPs removal <\/li><li>Simultaneous removal of heavy metals (PPs) and pharmaceuticals (EPs) from synthetic &amp; real wastewater <\/li><li>Correlation between AWWT technical and environmental performances, in terms of process analysis &amp;removal efficiencies, sorption in batch and column modes, sorbents reuse <\/li><li>Application of eco-design principles &amp;
